1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Creator", "Client", or "you") and MLFRAMES ("MLFRAMES", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering an account, accessing our website, browsing creator profiles, booking equipment or studio spaces, or utilizing our APIs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our accompanying Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years of age or possess the legal authority to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account or transact on MLFRAMES.
2. Marketplace Architecture & Platform Role
MLFRAMES is an independent discovery and workflow platform that enables clients to find trusted visual creators, hire production gear (FrameTools), book creative studios (FrameStudio), and purchase educational e-books.
Unless explicitly specified in a written corporate engagement, MLFRAMES is not an employer, talent agency, or broker. Creators operate as independent professional contractors who determine their own rates, availability, deliverables, and creative style.
3. User Accounts, Verification & Security
When registering as a Client or Creator, you agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information. Creator accounts undergo profile moderation and email verification before profiles and services are published live in public search results.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You must notify MLFRAMES immediately of any unauthorized account access.
4. Direct Shoot Agreements & Client-Creator Workflow
When a Client sends an enquiry or brief to a Creator via MLFRAMES messaging, communication and agreed terms occur directly between the parties:
- Brief & Deliverables: The scope of visual coverage, hours, location, raw media delivery, and editing turnaround must be agreed upon in the enquiry chat.
- Direct Payments: Clients pay Creators directly through their mutually agreed payment arrangements or platform-assisted payment flows. MLFRAMES does not deduct hidden booking commissions from client shoot fees.
- Cancellations & Rescheduling: Rescheduling conditions and deposit refund terms must be specified by the Creator on their service package or agreed in writing within the enquiry thread.
5. The Memory Statement & Intellectual Property Rights
Visual creators retain copyright ownership of their original photographic and cinematographic work, subject to the client licensing terms granted for commercial, wedding, corporate, or private use.
By uploading images or video samples to your portfolio or profile, you represent that you hold all required rights and model releases. You grant MLFRAMES a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your public portfolio samples strictly for promoting your profile and services on the platform.
6. FrameTools Gear Listings (Rent & Sale)
FrameTools enables creators to list camera gear, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment for hire or purchase. Owners are responsible for accurately describing gear condition and verifying that renters possess appropriate production insurance. MLFRAMES is not responsible for physical damage, loss, or theft of equipment during direct peer-to-peer rentals.
7. FrameStudio Venue & Space Bookings
FrameStudio permits studio owners to list production spaces, daylight lofts, and sound stages. Studio owners must clearly state hourly rates, sound limitations, power specifications, and insurance rules. Clients must adhere to studio house rules and leave venues in the condition found.
8. HOW E-Books & Educational Resources
All digital e-books purchased through MLFRAMES are for individual personal or internal studio use only. Redistribution, resale, or uncredited republication of e-book manuscripts, presets, or production templates is strictly prohibited.
9. Payments, Fees, MLFRAMES Credits & Spotlight
Certain platform features—including Spotlight paid placement, profile visibility boosts, and digital e-book purchases—may require payment by credit card or MLFRAMES Credits:
- MLFRAMES Credits: Credits are the platform's internal unit (100 credits = $1.00 USD). Credits are non-refundable and non-withdrawable to bank accounts.
- Spotlight Placements: Placements are time-boxed and geography-scoped. Spotlight placement fees are non-refundable once the campaign commences.
10. Safety, Content Guard & MediaGuard Automated Scanning
To protect users and platform integrity, all uploaded images and documents are processed through our automated MediaGuard security pipeline. Uploads containing malicious code, exploitative content, defamation, or infringing material are automatically quarantined and may result in immediate account termination.
11. Disclaimers, Warranties & Limitation of Liability
THE MLFRAMES PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MLFRAMES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL MLFRAMES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF CLIENT-CREATOR DISPUTES, ON-SET INJURIES, GEAR DAMAGE, OR CANCELLATIONS.
12. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Contact
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
